Question about dreadnoughts in warhammer 40k.?
Been reading about dreadnoughts, so does that mean that a dead space marine is placed in an automated dreadnought or an incapacitated but still brain-functioning marine?
What if a marine is alive but in a coma? though it is highly impossible since the implants can revive him but what if?
I know captain davian thule in Warhammer 40k: DoW 2 is alive inside the dreadnought but can dead space marines still be placed inside? Since its an "automated tomb"
A marine must still possess viable brain function to be placed into a dreadnought. Not only that, but he must be a battle-brother of considerable honour and experience to be granted such an honour.
"Death" is a somewhat flexible concept to a space marine. Generally-speaking it is exceptionally hard to definitively kill a space marine. But one can incapacitate them to the point that they can do no further service for the Chapter. At which point, they are usually honourably euthanazed by the Apothecary and their progenoid glands removed to be returned to the Chapter.
Only in rare cases will a battle-brother he honourably interred in a dreadnought.
A marine who has been clinically euthanazed by an Apothecary is beyond help and being placed in a dreadnought would achieve nothing.

I have PS3, 360, and PC. For PS3 and 360 I'm looking for a shooter, I have COD5, Rainbow Six Vegas (1 and 2), Halo 3, Socom Confrontation, Halo Wars, Gears of War (1 and 2). I'm also looking for a game with online play (I don't play story modes, only online [maybe also online co-op will do]) For PC an MMO, I have Warhammer, Age of Conan, and World of Warcraft. Those aren't all the games I have but I was just giving you a feel for what I like. Suggest as many games as you want. Maybe a brief description will help. Thanks for your help guys!
PS: Maybe you can suggest games that are coming out as a bonus. Thanks again!
Left 4 Dead is an awesome shooter for the 360 that has great online play, cant really help with the MMO.
A Look at Namco Bandai
Namco Bandai Games Europe announced on November 29 that it has launched an updated version of its official website, which now supports a number of different European languages. The website, which features corporate and product information as well as up-to-date official announcements, is now available in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
The company has also recently announced Family Ski for the Wii. Due for release in Japan during the Winter 2007/2008 and able to support up to four players, this cartoony take on the sport is being worked on by the folks behind Ridge Racer. The Wiimote and Nunchuk become your ski poles as you hurtle down the white powdery stuff. Also coming soon is Fragile, a new RPG for the Wii, being developed by Tri-Crescendo, developers of Eternal Sonata for the Xbox and Nintendo Wii. The RPG follows the story of Set, a young boy who must explore several cities in a post-apocalyptic world.
Last winter, Namco brought out Warhammer: Battle for Atluma, a collectible card game for the PSP set in the popular Warhammer world. John Whitmore, Director of Internal/External development at Namco Bandai Games America Inc. says that Battle for Atluma is “one of the more compelling card-based games to date,” and that it “goes beyond simple player interaction and encourages an inclusive sense of community among players through head-to-head battles, card collecting, trading and strategy sessions.” For the Xbox 360, Namco Bandai has Warhammer: Mark of Chaos, a real time strategy title that debuted last holiday season to decent reviews.
Earlier this year, Sony and Namco Bandai announced a new venture to develop content for the Cell chip including games for the PS3 and content for mobile phones and personal computers. The two companies invested about $821,000 to form Cellius, and the company has Ken Kutaragi, father of the PlayStation, as one of its directors. Sony will develop games with Namco Bandai to take market share from Microsoft Corp. and Nintendo Co.

Is it okay to use a power drill on a Warhammer 40k Tau Piranha?
The top of the base got stuck inside the hole insert on the bottom of my Tau Piranha. I can't get the little piece out to put it back on a base. I was wondering if it's okay to drill a new hole into my Tau Piranha or if Games Workshop plastic is too brittle and will crack and destroy my Piranha.
If it isn't suggested I use a drill, then how should I go about making it so I can put the base back on? Trying to glue it on didn't work out so well for me.
If your power drill has an RPM that start at 0, then it should be fine. I've used a drill bit in an HSS socket on my electric screwdriver often on GW plastic minis: just keep the rotations as low as possible.
That said, a decent miniature hand drill (also known as a pin vise) is a vital part of the hobbyist's toolkit.
Don't use rotary tools with an RPM that starts substantially above 0. I have a Dremel that starts at 3000RPM and I once wondered whether I could use it to drill.
Short answer: I couldn't. Result: scored miniature, snapped drill bit, lucky to still have use of both eyes.

The Mini-lathe has become the best-selling item of machinery in the hobby engineering market - often purchased as a first step by beginners to the hobby. This book is a complete course on using and imp...

Warhammer 40K Vehicle Ramming Rules?
Does anyone know the rules for vehicle ramming in the new 5th edition rules? I can't afford the knew rulebook and I've gotten all the big rule changes of the GW website but I can't seem to find vehicle ramming rules. can someone please help?
Well, first of all I can only encourage you to get hold of the rules one way or another. Joining a local wargaming club is great if you can't afford the rulebook yourself, because there are bound to be people there with a copy who will let you read it while they play.
However, at the risk of breaching copyright, I'll try to summarize the vehicle ramming rules.
Ramming is a special "tank shock" attack (and, hence, can only be performed by vehicles that can Tank Shock - i.e. usually tanks). The vehicle must move forward at its fastest possible movement rate in a straight line (with all the usual rules for difficult and dangerous terrain applying).
Obviously, if it contacts an infantry unit, apply the rules for Tank Shock.
If it contacts a vehicle, then it causes a hit on the relevant armour facing with a Strength equal to D6+1 for every point of armour on the ramming vehicle's front armour above 10 (so +2 for a vehicle with front armour of 12, say), +1 for every full 3" moved by the ramming vehicle up to the point that it struck the rammed vehicle, +1 if it is a tank (which, if it is ramming, it almost certainly is).
Meanwhile, the *rammed* vehicle inflicts the same hit back on the ramming vehicle, but obviously using the armour value of the side of the vehicle that was hit, rather than the front armour.
Both vehicles roll a D6 and apply the appropriate Strength to the result and consult the vehicle damage table.
In the event that the *ramming* vehicle causes a "Vehicle Destroyed - Explodes!" result, the ramming vehicle will the continue its move to its maximum move. This may result in it inflicting further ramming or Tank Shock attacks along its move line.
