Warhammer Fantasy Role-playing, first and second edition?
I got the core rulebook for this classic awesome game about two months ago (from an op-shop) and have been playing as a GM since then and I think I know how the game works. Recently one of the players has begun something in which I don't quite have the exact rules for and despite its flexibility it does not feel right to make all this up when they have a book just for it. It is called "The renegade crowns" and it is a second edition one. My question is could I still use it for my first edition rulebook even though its a second edition booklet?
I'm unsure of the powers granted to one as the GM of a Warhammer game, but whilst playing D&D, as the DM you are granted the final and absolute judgment over any rule-based disputes. My suggestion would then be to do what we do at our games, which is to adapt rule changes as best as we can to the point that they have the same comparable qualities. For example: To dual wield daggers in one edition requires a dexterity of 12, and for some reason, the edition you are playing has gotten rid of the dexterity attribute altogether. The closest related ability is now skill with a given weapon. Match that skill level required to dual wield daggers to a level similar in difficulty to attaining 12 dexterity in the previous edition. Would it be nearly impossible to get 12 dexterity, requiring a highly specialized character? If so, adapt accordingly. In short, it is *perfectly* acceptable, as the DM, at least, to adapt rules as you see fit. Hope my long-winded explanation helped.

How do I reset my window's setting for Warhammer Dawn of War PC?
I started the Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War game with the open in windows settting. Now i don't see an option to get back to fullscreen mode. Thanks in advance.
I can't offer any advice on trivia or game show games, but there are a ton of excellent strategy games for the PC. I don't know what the specs on your laptop are, so I'll name a few games with varying system requirements.
Older RTS (real-time strategy) games that are still very good include Rise of Nations, Warcraft III, and Age of Mythology. Newer ones that'll require a lot more power to run include Command and Conquer 3, Supreme Commander, and Company of Heroes (rated M, has some very salty language, although you can turn voices off altogether). Dawn of War (also rated M, gritty and bloody sci-fi violence) and its expansions are pretty good too, and they fall in the middle somewhere for PC requirements. If you don't mind playing really dated games, then StarCraft, Total Annihilation, and Stronghold (castle builder with a great sense of personality) are great choices.
If you prefer TBS (turn-based strategy), you can't go wrong with the Civilization series. Civilization IV is the newest and excellent in every regard, but Civ II and III are also worthwhile. Galactic Civilizations II has kind of flown under the radar, but it and its expansion are brilliant. The Total War series is also outstanding, combining a TBS campaign map with an RTS battle system. Medieval II Total War is the newest and my personal favourite, but Rome Total War is fun too. There are also a number of mods out there for both games that make it more difficult or realistic if you're into that kind of thing.
If you want my personal recommendations, I'd have to say that it depends on your budget. Rise of Nations and Warcraft III can both be found for pretty cheap, so that's a good place to start. Civilization IV is amazing and should have no problem running on any recent system, and you're missing out in a big way if you've never tried the series. You should try at least one of the Total War games too, they offer a sense of epic scale that few other games can match.
For RPGs, it's hard to match The Elder Scrolls series in terms of huge open worlds and free-form gameplay. Oblivion (the newest in the series) requires a very good computer to run on high settings, but it's still enjoyable if you turn the detail down. Morrowind, which is the third installment, is also pretty good. It doesn't hold your hand as much as Oblivion does and can take longer to get into, but there's an absolute wealth of story and lore if you can get past that.
Knights of the Old Republic is a superb linear RPG if you're a Star Wars fan. Even if you're not, it offers an excellent story with a solid gameplay base. Its sequel is good too, although you'll want to wait until the restoration mod comes out before playing it (www.team-gizka.org, they've fixed a ton of bugs and added the deleted end-game content). Neverwinter Nights, Planescape: Torment, and any of the Baldur's Gate series are older RPGs that are supposed to be very good, although I haven't had much personal experience with any of them. Neverwinter Nights also has a newer sequel, which could be worth checking out.
PC is the best platform for shooters as well, so I might as well name a couple good ones while I'm here. Battlefield 1942 or Modern Combat (or the futuristic one, Battlefield 2142) are all good team-based shooters (and best experienced on multiplayer, which makes the older ones less appealing). I've never played any Hitman games, but I've heard they're fun (and there's at least one out for PC, probably more). Other good shooters that deserve mention include the Half-Life games, the Splinter Cell series (stealth oriented gameplay without any of the standard run and gun action), the Rainbow Six series (tactical squad-based gameplay, also impossible to run and gun in), S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (open-world shooter set in Chernobyl), No One Lives Forever 2 (superb game with great humour, plays like a cross between James Bond and Splinter Cell), Far Cry, F.E.A.R. (haven't played it, supposed to be very creepy), and the Brothers in Arms games (also a squad based shooter, set in WWII). Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is a free all-multiplayer team-based shooter. The learning curve is a bit steep if you've never played multiplayer shooters before, but the game is free and fun. Just Google it to find a download link.
If you want to get more detail on any of these games, go to a gaming website (www.gamespot.com is very good) and read their reviews. The games I named are just a starting point, though, there are still a bunch of good games that I haven't named or can't remember off the top of my head. Explore around and check out reviews, I'm sure you'll be able to find a few that you like.

This album, which catapulted Polish composer Henryk Gorecki to into the international spotlight, takes texts born in pain and turns them into statements of affirmation through the use of music that ebbs and flows in mystic minimalism. The clear voice of soprano Dawn Upshaw, singing the Polish texts, is a large part of the success of this particular recording, but the music, contemporary without...

Set in 1879, this film depicts the catastrophic Battle of Isandhlwana, which remains the worst defeat of the British army by natives, with the British contingent outnumbered 16-to-1 by the Zulu tribesmen. The film's opinion of events is made immediately clear in its title sequence: ebullient African village...
